Whistlepig 15 Year Estate Oak Rye

WhistlePig 15 Year is an exceptionally aged straight rye whiskey that spends its final maturation in Vermont Estate Oak harvested from WhistlePig’s own farm. Bottled at 92 proof, the Estate Oak finish is particularly distinctive because Vermont’s shorter growing season produces tighter grained oak, giving the whiskey another layer of character after fifteen years of maturation.

The nose opens with rich caramel, vanilla, and dark fruit layered with toasted oak and warm baking spice. On the palate, classic rye spice meets butterscotch, dried fruit, leather, and dark chocolate, with cinnamon and clove bringing warmth and structure. The extended aging rounds the sharper edges of the rye while allowing the oak to play a prominent role. The finish is long and warming, lingering with spice, toasted wood, and a restrained sweetness.
