Inspired by their childhood memories of the Scottish countryside, the release celebrates the connection between nature, family, and the land surrounding The Macallan Estate. Matured in a combination of sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks, Amber Meadow offers a softer, more pastoral expression of The Macallan's signature style. Even its presentation reflects the collection's environmental focus, with packaging incorporating repurposed meadow cuttings.
The nose opens with fresh orange, honeysuckle, vanilla, and coconut, accompanied by soft notes of barley and meadow flowers. On the palate, rich oak, lemon, melon, and classic scone unfold alongside delicate hints of green tea and almond. The whisky is gentle and beautifully balanced, allowing its bright citrus and creamy sweetness to develop without overwhelming the more delicate floral character.
