Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 22 Year Bourbon

Part of Heaven Hill’s highly allocated Heritage Collection, this 22 year release represents some of the oldest bourbon the distillery has publicly offered in decades. Aged for more than two decades in Kentucky rickhouses and bottled at barrel proof, it delivers the kind of depth and maturity that only extended aging can create when carefully managed.

The nose opens with antique oak, dark caramel, leather, and dried cherry layered over pipe tobacco and baking spice. On the palate, rich toffee, charred oak, and dark fruit unfold with remarkable concentration, followed by notes of molasses, roasted nuts, and warm spice. Despite its age and proof, the whiskey remains composed and textured rather than overtly tannic. The finish is long, contemplative, and deeply oak driven, carrying lingering warmth, spice, and mature sweetness.

For a pairing that stands confidently beside it, pour Heaven Hill 22 alongside our Teres Major. The whiskey’s oak and caramelized depth mirror the bourbon miso butter and char on the steak, while its structure cuts through the richness of the duck fat confit mushrooms and toum fingerling potatoes. It’s a pairing that feels deliberate, layered, and built for slow appreciation.
